Warsaw University

Work at Warsaw University with the projects connected with innovations in academic space was extremely interesting from the perspective of UX designer. It allowed to take use of knowledge and skills from different fields and included contacts with people having varied background. Moreover we had an opportunity to cooperate with one of the biggest architecture studios in Poland (APAKA - Kuryłowicz &t; Associates, Budzyńscy) presenting them recommendations gathered within a participative process. We had also an unique chance to observe how varied and complicated organism an university is, and how different kind of users meet there -- from professors and PhD students, through librarians and administrative workers, to students and citizens of Warsaw that have no direct connection with university, but their needs and interests had to be taken into account.

#BUWing 2.0 - a concept of utilizing main library’s basement and promoting once-popular BUWing phenomenon.

The final concept was to found the MixRealityLab -- place where virtual reality meets sport and science. It was expected to be new, strong interdisciplinary scientific initiative connected with sport centre -- where one may run research connected with VR, create content, view VR movies, and utilize augmented reality to train sport in limited space conditions.
